Throwback Food Festival

Kids and families across Qatar are getting ready to celebrate Garangao, a cherished tradition where children wear traditional attire, sing festive songs, and gather sweets from their neighbors.

To mark the occasion, the Old Doha Port will host the Throwback Food Festival, bringing Qatar’s rich culinary history to life by recreating the vibrant atmosphere of old Qatari markets.

Experience a night of nostalgia, delicious flavors, and cultural festivities at the Throwback Food Festival!


Garangao night at Fire Station

Come and celebrate Garangao Night at the Fire Station for a fun-filled evening with your family!  
Enjoy delicious local food and cool drinks while taking part in exciting activities. Kids can join a Best Dress Contest, decorate tote bags with paint, receive sweets and henna, and watch amazing shows like the Puppet Show and Bubble Show. There’s something for everyone to enjoy, making it a night to remember!


Le Marché Place Vendome

Le Marché is a fun-filled event with entertainment, shopping, and tasty food.

Enjoy exciting games like paintless paintball, explore carnival attractions like a giant ball pit and carousel, and take part in creative activities such as face painting and caricature drawing.

You can also shop and try delicious food from themed kiosks. Activity tickets start at QR 20 and can be bought online or at the event.


Musaher Al Mina

At Old Doha Port, visitors can experience the Musaher, a special Ramadan tradition happening every night during the holy month. Dressed in traditional clothing, night callers walk through the port, playing drums and singing to wake people up for Suhoor.

This cultural event brings a true sense of Qatar’s heritage and makes Ramadan nights even more special.


Hosh Msheireb Ramadan activities

Hosh Msheireb brings a special cultural experience, inspired by traditional Qatari family gatherings, to celebrate Ramadan in a heritage setting.

Guests can enjoy Suhoor by Saasna restaurant, explore the "Back to Msheireb" photography exhibition, and take part in fun activities for children.


Pearl Ramadan Bazaar
From March 1 till April 5, 2025

The third edition of the bazaar brings together shopping, culture, and community in a vibrant setting by the waterfront.

Guests can browse over 35 local and international stalls featuring traditional clothing, handmade crafts, luxurious perfumes, unique gifts, and delicious Ramadan treats.


Ramadan Beach Volleyball Tournament
