Qatar and Uzbekistan Sign Agreement to Boost Tourism

 Uzbekistan and Qatar have signed an agreement to strengthen tourism ties, marking a significant step forward. 

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has approved the international agreement titled "On Approval of the International Agreement," which formalizes collaboration between the two governments in tourism and business events. 

The agreement, signed on October 2, 2023, in Doha, designates the Tourism Committee to oversee its implementation. Upon its enactment, the Cabinet of Ministers and relevant ministries will ensure its proper execution according to established procedures.

Objectives of the Agreement:

Uzbekistan and Qatar have signed an agreement to boost tourism between they countries. The main goals of this agreement are:

Promoting mutual tourism: Encouraging peoples from Uzbekistan and Qatar to visit each others cultural, historical, and natural attractions.

Facilitating business events: Hold joint business forums, conferences, and exhibitions to strengthen businesses relationships.
